CSR Eco Solutions
A zero-landfill decommissioning platform — asset-recovery workflows and audit-ready ESG reporting for global enterprises.

Overview
CSR Eco Solutions is a social enterprise that decommissions commercial offices without sending anything to landfill — reselling, donating, or certifiably recycling every asset it removes, then handing the client the documentation their sustainability team has to file. I built the platform end-to-end and rebuilt it as the business grew from regional clearances into a global operation.
When a company vacates a floor, the furniture usually goes to landfill and the paperwork goes nowhere. Facilities teams juggle separate movers, recyclers, and charities, each with their own records; nobody can say what share was actually diverted. Meanwhile the sustainability team has to file Scope 3 disclosures on that same activity, from spreadsheets and emailed receipts that no auditor would accept.
The platform makes the reporting a by-product of the operation. Assets are inventoried at item level on site, then routed to secondary-market resale, a matched local charity, or a certified recycler — and each hop writes a record. Those records roll up into a client portal showing live diversion rate, tonnes handled, CO₂e avoided, and community value, exportable as a filing-ready PDF or raw CSV. The company now runs a 94% average diversion rate across 5,500+ projects and 50,000 tonnes handled, and can evidence it.
What I did
- Built the platform frontend and backend end-to-end, then rebuilt it as the business scaled from regional clearances to projects across 25+ countries.
- Modeled the asset-recovery workflow — item-level inventory through resale, charity donation, or certified recycling — so every asset keeps a chain-of-custody record from pickup to final disposition.
- Developed the ESG reporting client portal: live diversion rate, tonnes handled, CO₂e avoided, and community value, drilled down per site or aggregated across a corporate account.
- Implemented document generation for the audit trail — donation receipts, third-party recycling certificates, and Scope 3 disclosures — exportable as filing-ready PDF or raw CSV.
- Built the public marketing site on a Strapi headless CMS with quote and donation-request intake, so the team publishes content and works leads without a developer.
- Optimized backend queries and tightened data validation across the reporting pipeline, where a wrong number becomes a wrong disclosure.
Built for every side of the loan
Decommissioning
Single-contract site clearance for offices of any size, from one floor to a hundred enterprise sites — removal, sorting, diversion, and the compliance reporting that follows it.
Partner programs
White-labeled asset-recovery programs furniture manufacturers and dealers offer under their own brand, so a sale can include taking the old inventory away responsibly.
Donation network
Registered charities and community groups are matched to nearby donation drives and receive quality surplus assets at no cost, with logistics and delivery handled for them.
What it does
Item-level asset inventory
Every item is graded, weighed, and categorized on site before it leaves the building — the record everything downstream is derived from.
Diversion routing
Assets are systematically routed to secondary-market resale, charity donation, or certified zero-landfill processing, whichever recovers the most value.
Chain-of-custody tracking
Each transfer is logged with its processor and destination, including secure handling for data-bearing items.
Live ESG dashboard
Diversion rate, tonnes handled, CO₂e avoided, and community value, updating during the project rather than arriving weeks after it.
Audit-ready document output
Donation receipts, third-party recycling certificates, and destruction certificates generated as filing-ready PDF or raw CSV for internal BI.
Multi-site corporate rollup
An aggregate view for executives who file the reports, with drill-down to any individual site for the teams who ran the work.
From a cleared floor to a filed disclosure
The operation and the reporting are the same system: what crews record on site becomes what the client’s sustainability team files. Here is the path an asset takes, from inventory through diversion to an audit-ready report.
One contract, four stages
Every engagement runs the same pipeline — assessment and inventory, on-site removal and sorting, diversion to resale or donation, then reporting. Each stage writes item-level records, so the final report is assembled from what actually happened rather than reconstructed afterwards.

Every project, disclosure-ready
Clients log into a private portal during or after a project to watch diversion rate, tonnes handled, CO₂e avoided, and community value update live. The same dataset exports as a polished PDF for formal filing or raw CSV for their own BI stack.

Routing surplus to nonprofits
Charities and community groups register once and are matched to donation drives near them. The match produces the donation receipt and fair-market valuation that later appear in the client's community-value figure.
